Happy Hanukkah! In this joyous Festival of Lights and dedication, we would like to present some notable personalities, whom with their luminescence have warmed many a heart in our community. In addition, you will find a review of two interesting books recently published, a documented list of synagogues and prayer halls in India, Burma and Pakistan. Included are two reports with photographs from the Shaul Sapir lecture (12.11.14), and the Ohel David Synagogue, Pune commemoration (02.11.14).
