The Indian Jewish Heritage Center (IJHC) achieved a major milestone in February 2026 by launching the first ‘India Month’. This highly successful initiative was hosted in collaboration with the Museum of Islamic Art in Jerusalem, creating a unique cultural bridge that captivated audiences.

Every evening offered attendees an immersive educational experience. Guests explored the museum’s vibrant permanent collections—ranging from Islamic pottery and textiles to historic jewelry and rare clocks—alongside cutting-edge heritage programming.

The initiative received key support from the Embassy of India in Israel, which arranged traditional Indian dance and musical performances to accompany each lecture. The IJHC was deeply honored by the presence of the Ambassador of India to Israel, Shri J.P. Singh, who delivered an inspiring address at the opening lecture.

Following this immense debut success, both organizations have committed to making ‘India Month’ an annual flagship event every February.
