On November 10, 2025, the Indian Jewish Heritage Center (IJHC) and the Cochin Jewish Heritage Center (CJHC) hosted a landmark event in Moshav Nevatim.
Centered on the historic coexistence of Jews in India, the gathering culminated in the unveiling of a monument dedicated to the Maharaja of Jamnagar.
The event featured distinguished speakers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and renowned historians, alongside cultural performances and updates on four major heritage projects currently seeking donor support.
There were two exhibitions at the event: one featuring an exhibit of the Maharaja curated by Tirza Lavi, and another showcasing plans for the Indian Jewish Heritage Complex.
During the event, refreshments including Indian snacks enhanced the festive cultural atmosphere.
